A Ghost Dog Pokémon?!

Hello, Gamers! Today I have a minor update for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. We have a new, generation 9 pokémon reveal. Yesterday, The Official Pokémon YouTube Channel uploaded two videos going to show off this new pokémon. I’ll be sharing them both here, and then going over them both briefly.

If you haven’t been keeping up to date with the news on Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, you can do so by reading the rest of my articles going over the topic. They will be linked at the bottom of this article. Just curious to know what pokémon will be returning to Scarlet and Violet from previous gens? I’ve got an article for and I will be updating it with the information we’ve seen in both of these videos.

A New Ghost-Type Pokémon!

Let’s take a look at the first video, which seems to be another vlog-style video from the perspective of a student at Naranja Academy!

Wow, I sure hope she’s okay. So, what exactly is this new pokémon? Is it a dog with a Litwick on its head? Not exactly, let’s look at the second video to learn a little bit more about it.

According to the title of this video, our new pokémon is named, Greavard. We aren’t given too much information regarding it in the videos, so let’s hop over to the official website to learn even more about this spectral pupper!

YEOWCH! It doesn’t sound like you wanna get bit by this little dog. It’s okay though, because according to the rest of the information presented, while it acts rather spooky and lets out an eerie cry, it doesn’t seem to be doing so out of ill intent.

Greavard is just a playful pooch and is incredibly easy to befriend. Similarly to Litwick though, it will inadvertently drain the life force of anyone around it. However, ghost-type enthusiasts will have an incredibly loyal and steadfast companion to add to their team!

Wrapping Up

This short and sweet article is all I have for today, Gamers! Are you looking for some spooky games to play over the holiday weekend? I’ll be sharing an article highlighting some of my favorites tomorrow, so be sure to come by and check it out. Later, Gamers!
